to Hindu belief, Lakshmi is considered the goddess of wealth and wealth.

is believed that Lakshmi was born through the churning of the sea. According to

the gods received 14 gems, one of which was Lakshmi. In one hand of Lakshmi Ji,
the urn full of wealth and the other hand was in Abhaya Mudra. Lakshmi Ji
accepted Lord Vishnu as her husband as soon as she got out of the sea.

The
most popular mantra of Laxmi ji is: "Om Mahalakshmai Namah" (ऊं
महालक्ष्म्यै नम:
).
Apart from this, many astrologers consider this mantra of Lakshmi to be
beneficial for the attainment of happiness - peace, wealth and good fortune in
the house:

तां म आवह जातवेदो लक्ष्मीमनपगामिनीम् |
यस्यां
हिरण्यं विन्देयं गामश्वं पुरुषानहम् ||
Nature of Laxmi Ji
According
to the Puranas, Lakshmi Ji is very playful and does not stay in one place for
long. This is the reason that if a person does not respect money, then he does
not feel poor.

Lakshmi Ji has four hands, out of which she holds a lotus flower in two hands,
and in two other hands, one hand holds an urn and rains money with one hand.
His ride is an owl and he sits on a lotus.
